Acceptable Use Policy
Voza exists so that companies can talk on WhatsApp with people who know them. This policy says what is not allowed with Voza, with the numbers linked to it and with the API. It applies to Voza's customers and to anyone who uses Voza through their systems.
Messages and calls
It is not allowed to:
- Send unsolicited or bulk messages or calls, or contact lists that were bought, rented or collected without consent.
- Send advertising to people who did not ask for it, or keep sending it to people who asked you to stop.
- Make automated calls with recorded messages to people who do not expect the contact.
- Record calls without telling the other party, when the applicable law requires that notice.
- Get around WhatsApp's limits, such as switching numbers to keep sending after a block.
Content
It is not allowed to use Voza to send, receive or store content that:
- is illegal, fraudulent or misleading, including scams, phishing and requests for data or payment under false pretenses;
- impersonates another person, company or authority;
- promotes hatred, violence, harassment or discrimination;
- involves the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors, in any form;
- offers products or services prohibited by law or by WhatsApp's Commerce Policy, such as illegal drugs, weapons or forged documents;
- contains viruses, malicious links or any code designed to cause harm;
- violates the rights of others, such as copyright, trademarks or privacy.
Personal data
- Only process your contacts' data with a legal basis, such as consent or a contract, and in accordance with the data protection law that applies to them (in Brazil, the LGPD).
- Do not use Voza to find out whether numbers have WhatsApp, to build lists or to collect people's data without their knowledge.
The service
It is not allowed to:
- try to access other customers' accounts, numbers or data;
- test, probe or get around Voza's security, authentication or limits without written authorization;
- overload the service on purpose, or use it in a way that harms other customers;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer Voza, except where the law allows it;
- resell access to the API as a competing API service without a written agreement. Integrating Voza into the systems you sell to your customers is allowed.
What happens in case of a violation
Depending on its severity, Voza may warn the customer, limit or disconnect numbers, revoke keys, suspend the account or close it, and report the matter to the authorities when the law requires it. In serious or urgent cases, we may act before giving notice. WhatsApp may also apply its own measures to the numbers.
Reports
If you received unwanted messages from a number linked to Voza, or suspect abuse, write to the contact below, with the number and, if possible, copies of the messages.
